20 years ago, Vertikal Service was founded by Åsmund Teigen Vaage. Since then, the company has established itself as a recognized and well-reputed supplier within oil and gas and hydro and wind power. In recent years, we have significantly strengthened our position within service and maintenance for renewable energy production and the company delivered in 2023 the company's best ever result.
In 2024, Vertikal Service entered the Archer group, as a separate subsidiary. This move helps to strengthen competitiveness within oil and gas, and will also contribute positively to the further development within renewables. In November 2025 the name was changed to Archer Vertikal. Archer Vertikal is an important player in project and system deliveries to the wind and hydropower industry, as well as being a versatile construction player in oil and gas.
